Jeff Waddleton is what you might call a Creative Professional. After graduating with a BA in English/Creative Writing from San Diego State University, he found work for several years in broadcast radio as a comedy writer and on-air personality. During this time, he also worked as a commercial scriptwriter developing creative ad campaigns and advertising spots for various clientele. Jeff also lent his comedy writing talents to two nationally recognized comedy podcasts from 2011-2015. In addition to a self-published collection of short stories and poems, Jeff has worked as a content editor and story consultant for multiple fiction writers and authors, edited a feature-length screenplay for submission to Hollywood producers, adapted a work of classic fiction into both a radio drama and stage play, and mentored numerous aspiring young screenwriters and adult novelists in their pursuit of creative genius. He currently leads the Temecula West Writer's Group, a collection of advanced local writers working towards submitting their work for publication. He is also part of Temecula Valley Writers & Illuistrators, and is working on his own latest novel, the thriller, Temporary. He is proud to have helmed both the Creative Writing for Adults and Teen Screenwriting programs for the City of Temecula since their inception in January of 2018.
